Why Prison Social Network is Important...

Updated: Jul 30, 2019

I take this site personally. I really do. I served over 11 years in a state correctional facility. Loneliness, hopelessness, and frustration are all issues prisoners face daily. I started planning for my future and wanted to give back to the men and women serving time. This is NOT your typical "pen-pal" site. Yes, I place profiles on my site, but I network for these individuals and want to interact with you...the viewer. I am an advocate for prison issues as well, and am affiliated with dozens of groups, organizations, and more to help fight for the injustices that happen with the prison walls.

I am asking for your help. I am asking you to take the time to encourage someone on the inside. Contact them via letters or email. It will make a difference in their life. Over 94% of all felons will be released within their lifetime. This is a staggering number. Prison reform, reentry initiatives, etc, are key to an individual's success upon release, but to me staying connected to the outside world is a must. The only way they can do that is being connected to people. This is my goal. I want to encourage people on the inside and let them know that there are people who care out here. I promote change through personal responsibility, personal growth, and healthy relationships.

Thi is just the beginning. I am in it for the long haul and thank everyone in advance for contributing to the site. More to come...
